Chilli CQuad
Four finned surfboards are back
Old concepts with contemporary refinements give modern day quads a great combination of drive and maneuverability. We based the CQUAD on our STEPdown design, the main difference being the absence of the hip as release is now achieved through the fin set up. It has mid boxy rails and full single concave through the entire board. The fin set-up does not compromise having a centre fin added so you can order this as a tri/quad convertible.
Some surfers have said that surfing a quad feels like your cheating!

Chilli A2 Curve
Made for high-performance surfing
The A2 curve has a medium entry rocker that flows into a straighter mid-section to create natural speed with increased lift in the tail rocker enabling nice, tight pocket turns and drives the board anywhere on the wave at anytime. Low boxy rails with a rolled deck make the board extremely responsive. The single concave increases lift, liveliness and speed.

Chilli Step Down
Mr. Reliable
When the waves are too junky for your regular board STEPdown an inch or two, generally ¼” to 1/2” wider & maybe just a touch thicker. Based on the CN curve but has a lower faster entry and more relaxed tail curve. We’ve kept the rails similar for an easy transition from your A2 or CN curve. It has a flatter fuller deck and more volume in the front half to help with paddling and small wave surfing. Add a defined hip, wider squash tail and a single to double concave for a great speed & release combination.

Developed with Kolohe Andino for his all around contest needs. Kolohe had been riding the SD2 exclusively in contest for years. The low tail rocker and spiral vee out the back gave a great combo of drive and maneuverability, but sometimes felt sticky in tight pockets.
In 08’ we had been playing with the STEALTH and he loved the quick, tight radius pocket surfing it allowed, but never felt confident using one in heats. His trademark carving style relied on the SD2’s drive. In an effort to loosen up his surfing, and retain drive, we combined the two into…. The SCORCHER. Featuring the same low entry rocker, forward outline and rear rail line rocker of the Stealth, but the wide bump squash, and vee out the back from the SD2. By lowering the Stealth’s center line rocker and keeping the rail line the same…we created a deep vee out the tail (with more carving drive) hybrid of the SD2/STEALTH.
Kolohe used this model to win 3 National Titles last summer at lowers. Gorkin won the 2009 ECSC and 3 other Pro events this year on one. This board is all ready the rage amongst the custom order crew. Ride about 2” shorter 1/8” thinner and ¼” wider than an F1 or Whiplash type short board.

This is Placeboman’s version of ...Lost’s best selling model for 2008. He thought about making some updates, but this board works so good he just copied the design into four different Flexlite sizes. The added strength to weight ratio makes these the ultimate groveller. This board features a wide, forward outline with round forgiving rails, flat deck and wide “rocket” tail.
