East Coast Lights Up

East Coast Lights Up

The East Coats lit up this past week as hurricane Earl passed by with some great surf. A category 3 hurricane when it passed by the Antigua  airport but it soften its punch the further north it traveled. Not enough to slow down the great waves that it pumped to North East breaks from Hatteras on north. There were reports of wind gusts are generally reaching 30-50 mph in these areas. Wave heights are around 15 feet from buoys near the North Carolina coast, 10 feet off Virginia, and 20 feet and higher offshore.
